The University of Calabar Teaching Hospital (UCTH) in collaboration with the Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) Harvard Medical School Team carries out a five-day advanced Endoscopy Program at UCTH, Calabar From January 29th, 2024 to February 2nd, 2024.
The event which began on Monday, January 29th, 2024 features training on Diadatic Teaching of ERCP and EUS including Hands-on Sessions with Models: Duodenoscopy and Accessories and ERCP Procedures.

The opening ceremony was graced by the presence of the CMD, Prof Ikpeme A. Ikpeme, who declared the event open. The distinguished team from the Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) includes, among others, Dr. Akwa Asombang, Dr. Lars Aabakken, Dr. Katarzyna Pawlak, Dr. Jackson Tipaila, Dr. Lisa Lorick, Dr. Avinash Kambadakone, Dr. Shifa Umar, and Dr. Yakira David.
