The Department of Orthopaedics and Traumatology was carved out of the former department of Surgery and started functioning effectively from 1st October, 2012. The department of Orthopaedics and Traumatology has three clinical units headed by Chief Consultants/Professors. All the units handle different subspecialties. We operate four Clinics: Trauma, Pediatric, Orthopedic and Oncology
The vision of the Department is to ensure future development along existing subspecialty areas and to increase the areas of subspecialty.
